FOOD HALL AND FOOD COURT DESIGN
IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Mitsuwa Marketplace, Honolulu, Hawaii
NUDELL ARCHITECTS, Architect of Record, in collaboration with the HW Group, teamed up with Mitsuwa (owner), Nordic PCL (contractor), and Taubman (landlord), to complete this must see Japanese Restaurant/Marketplace destination located in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the second floor of Taubmans’ new International Market Place. Part of the 10,000 sf food hall space is grocery/retail while the other part consists of 4 separate kitchens and a seating area. This project took 6 short months to complete.
ADDITIONAL FOOD COURT DESIGNS
NUDELL ARCHITECTS provided full architectural design services for this new 320 seat food court/Hall which included space for 6 new food kitchens, feature fireplace, new skylights, and new customer restrooms. The space for the new food court was the renovation of under performing lease space which helped to anchor and stabilize the location within the mall.
